Introduction

There are special monsters, that are called shiny monsters. You will recognize them on their red outline & shine. There is a small chance to spawn a shiny monster, instead of a normal monster. What makes this monsters so special you might ask? The Shiny Monsters will be stronger, give you a lot more experience and drop better loot. The most important fact is that shiny monsters drop a very rare and special stone that is called 'shard'. Shards can be converted toknowledge extract and used to advance in a talent of your choice. You can turn them in to special NPC's in Thais, which will help you training your talents. Shiny monsters will spice up your hunts and make them more exciting. If you have the Lucky charm, you have a 10% increased chance to spawn a shiny creature on fully unlocked monsters.
